The security guard friend we made, Steve, explained to us incoming students that Bath Spa University is the only University in the world that has a campus in an estate. It is a beautiful place, and I can't wait to tell you more about it as I continue to go there. Details about the scriptwriting class will be posted in the other blog.
Right now I'm going to explain that how after an early morning commute to Corsham, it was devastating to walk down the high street, in search of coffee, and not find anything was open... although it was before 10am on a Saturday. Enter "The Little Kitchen," which we found on a side street after asking directions from a kind gentleman passing by.
What a cute place! They whipped up a delicious hazelnut latte for my morning caffeine intake and a ham and cheese panini to add to the salad I packed for my lunch. Additionally, the two working were so fun to talk to, and the entire cafe was bright despite the early morning.
One more quick note about Corsham... there are live peacocks that roam around! It is the coolest thing. They do not run from those who pass by, unless you are walking a dog.
